The Way it Goes ...
Over the years, I have come to realize that rushing through a photo session does not provide either of us with the best results. I know it is a busy day and age, but you wouldn't have come to me if you weren't looking for something polished and professional. Now-a-days everyone has their own digital camera and many take photographs on the side as a hobby, if you have come to me with payment for your pictures, you are looking for something a bit more special. In order for me to provide you with a special experience and portraits that you can always cherish, we both need time. With that said, I have decided to reformat my pricing and packages. I will currently only offer 30 min photo sessions to repeat customers. If you have never worked with me before, we need at least an hour to get acquainted in person, so that we can both be comfortable and take our time producing the portraits you envisioned.
Portrait session and it's inclusions:

1 hour
10 retouched digital images
You will receive each of your 10 poses in color, b&w, sepia, and a special effect version; totaling 40 images
Printing rights
A temporary proof album to make your selections
An online transfer of your files/images once final selections are made

Maternity session and it's inclusions:

Additional 30 mins for $50
Additional 1 hour for $100
Each additional pose is $10 and the cost includes color, b&w, sepia, and a special effect version; totaling 4 images with printing rights.
Cosmetic make-up application
$50 to cover the cost of product (I like to use Bare Minerals), talent, and for a 30 min session of consultation and application time prior to your photo session or event. You can also correspond with me over email about your overall vision/ideas/preferences as well.
Girl Talk
I invite you to enjoy refreshments, girl talk, and a fun make up & photography experience with me!
Host a session!
Girl Talk hosts are fun-loving women that are happy to provide snacks and beverages, for guests of their choosing (3-5), in their own home. Hosts receive a $30 credit, per guest, toward their next photo session by Desy's Photography; up to a $150 value! Hosts also receive the same make up & photography experience as their guests!
Be a guest!
Girl Talk guests receive refreshments, a make up application, retouched photography, and of course a fun time with the girls! Each guest will have a make up application with products such as, but not limited to, Mary Kay and Bare Minerals. Guests also receive 2 retouched head shots (Desy's signature pose and a free style pose) as well as a group photo. And lastly, 10% off your next Desy's Photography photo session! All this, for only $50!

The Fine Print
Time and talent for all photo sessions (excluding event and promotions) is $100 per hour. Each pose/image is priced at $10 per image. Any requested shooting location that is outside of the following areas will require a travel fee. I am currently serving the Northern Virginia area to include: Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg, Stafford, Triangle, Dumfries, Manassas, Woodbridge, Dale City, Occoquan, and Lorton. I prefer to shoot in natural lighting, outdoors. I do make exceptions in cold and inclimate weather. The total cost of your session must be agreed upon prior to the photo session date. Payment is due in full by the end of the session. Selection of poses will be narrowed down for you at the discretion of Desy's Photography to ensure quality and consistency. Customer's will receive retouched, high resolution, digital negatives, online with printing rights only. All images may be used by Desy and Desy's Photography for posting and/or marketing material.

Of all the times in your life that you will need a photographer, this is one of the most important! Weddings are an elaborate process; before, during, and after. Every bit of it is important and your memories should be captured & preserved in the most flattering and artistic ways! I'd love to capture your enthusiasm for one another, as well as your attention to detail with all that you have planned and prepared!
Desy's Photography is offering wedding portraits before, during, or after your big day! This is a minimum 1 hour session of just you and your groom in your wedding attire. What an amazing way to capture the beauty of your commitment to walk this life together! Wedding portraits start at $200!
Family
There is no place like home, and what makes a house a home? Family! Embrace home, love, and family with your very own family portraits. It is my goal to provide you with photos that give you that warm, happy, cozy feeling of home in a way that best reflects you & your family! Pets are welcome too! Sessions start at $200!
Special Occasion
If you're having a birthday, anniversary, special occasion or an event that you would like photographed; trust that there will be attention to detail and a fun personality to boot! ;) Event sessions are just $100 per hour with no retouching and unlimted images with printing rights.
Engagement & Bridal
Yay! You are getting married! Congrats! There is so much to celebrate, so let's get started! First, we need to take some amazing photos of you and your fiance that you can share with all your loved ones. This is your time to show who you are together. Have fun, get creative, pick a theme that speaks to you and we will create images that reflect you and your love for one another. Engagement sessions start out at $200!
Next, you need to celebrate that you also said "yes to the dress!" You put a whole lot of thought into this decision and there is no reason why you should only wear it once! We need to capture you in your most elegant dress accessorized in love & excitement! Bridal sessions start out at $200!
Maternity & Infant
Let's face it, sometimes pregnancy doesn't feel all that glamorous. However, your maternity photographs ought to be! Let's create images that show the way your baby makes you illuminate from the inside out. Let's capture that expectant "mommy glow" as well as the joy & anticipation in any other family members! Maternity sessions start at $250!
Finally! The Baby is here! You have waited so long to meet your bundle of love and, before you know it, he/she will be celebrating their... dare I say ... first birthday! But fret not! We can preserve these precious moments in time with a new-born photo session! New born sessions start at $300!
Senior & Make-over/Glam Portraits
Senior portraits are such a milestone. Let's think of classy & creative ways to capture the true you, together! If you have a blemish or two, no big deal! Retouching is free & carefully applied. I strive to capture the true you in the best way! Senior Portraits start at $200!
Would you like a photo shoot, just because? A make-over shoot is your perfect opportunity to pamper yourself. With this photo session you have the pleasure of getting your make up applied for you! It is your time to shine and your time to feel glamorous :) Just because! The glam session is 1.5 hours and starts at $250!
